Andreas Kartapanis

Group CEO, Hygeia Group

He is a graduate of Athens University of Economics, Department of Management and Business Administration. He worked for several years as a financial manager and CFO in commercial, industrial and hotel business.

His   professional experience in the healthcare sector covers 18 years, during which, he worked at two public and two private hospitals. In particular, from 2001 to 2003, he was  appointed CEO at Sismanoglio Hospital – a public hospital with 450 beds capacity – and later, during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, he joined Evangelismos Hospital – the largest public hospital in Greece with 1.000 bed capacity – as CEO. In 2005, he decided to pursue a career in the private healthcare sector, and, as a result, he joined the Athens Medical Center holding, for 3 years, the position of the General Manager.

In March 2008, he joined Hygeia Hospital as General Manager and since September 2015 he have been appointed CEO of the whole Group.
